Where other non-profits across the country will waste hundreds of thousands of dollars on an expensive banquet, The Blessing Way has decided to save that money and invite you to be a part of the Blessing Way's 1st annual .
The Blessing Way would also like to recognize the life achievement of Father Alan Anthony Smalls.
a message from Father Smalls: "I am privileged to honored for this title of lifetime achievement. To be honest with you, I don't deserve it. I've had had the gracious ability to serve as long as I have, and am sorry that I will not get to serve another 70 years here on this earth. When The Blessing Way approached me about this honor, I wanted to turn it down. I don't think anybody should be getting dressed up and clapping for me. They told me that they would then just honor me with the recognition, and that I would have the chance to be a part of their fundraising campaign. Let me then say that The Blessing Way is an incredible organization that I have had the great honor of serving our Lord with. I ask you all, for my sake, give to the work of this organization. Fight the good fight and may God bless you all."
